Those of you connected to us on facebook and twitter already know… but for those of you who are just visiting us online for the first time… The song DOMINO EFFECT won the Grooveshark pick the single contest!! Thanks to everyone for voting and getting involved!! As we put the finishing touches on our second full length album ‘The Domino Effect” we thought we’d release a 4 song teaser EP of what’s to come.  We want to let’ y’all know it’s officially available globally everywhere music is sold digitally on the web. In celebration of the contest winning song, and all the new & old fans who discovered these songs during this contest, we will be releasing a video for the song in the very near future! Bear Creek Music Fest in Live Oak, Florida, (one of our favorite fests in the country) is right around the corner! We play on Sunday Nov 13th on the Campground stage at 3pm. VG contributor Natalie Cressman will be joining us for that performance as well! Link HERE to see the full schedule!

Gonna be in Chicago the night before Thanksgiving? Get your best black & white duds ready for “The Black Wednesday Affair” at Schubas for our first headline show in our hometown in over a year! Silver Wrapper, Van Ghost, & Schubas all strongly encourage ALL black & white attire. The band will be participating and this can be anything from something “Domino” related to a cocktail dress to a zebra outfit to a wig or a masquerade mask with mardi gras beads and anything in between. Most importantly though we are gearing up for our free live video stream on Jambase this Friday June 17th as well as our 2 night stand (June 17-18) at the Connecticut Yankee with members of Big Light (Fred Torphy & Jeremy Korpas acoustic duo) & ALO.This will mark the long overdue West coast debut for Van Ghost and the farthest West we’ve traveled since our dates with the Derek Trucks Band that led us as far West as Denver about 2 years ago. Natalie Cressman will be joining us for the whole weekend too! Renowned producer Justin Niebank (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Daughtry just to name a few) unveils the debut single from Chicago darlings Van Ghost.  Niebank’s new label, Dustinmoff Music along with partner, record company executive Timm Martin, will release Van Ghost‘s The Domino Effect, available via free download in just a few short weeks. We have so much to announce today!

- We will be making our first trip to the West Coast June 17th and 18th for a 2 night stand at the Connecticut Yankee with our good friends Big Light and several others. All ages welcome!

- While we are there, we are doing a free live video stream on Jambase.com, one of the internet’s leaders of concert listings and music news abroad. This will air at 4pm PST and run for aprox an hour. This will be a full band performance and we are very excited about it!!

- We have been announced on some of the best festivals in the Midwest and beyond this week and also have one of our very favorites ever to kick things off at the end of this month!! SUMMER CAMP, ELECTRIC FOREST, NORTH COAST, WICKER PARK FEST, HOXEYVILLE, BEAR CREEK, BELLA TEMPO, FARMFEST450 and many other gigs. Check our shows page for the full list!

- Summer Camp will feature 3 sets of VG! 2 all unique electric sets and 1 late night acoustic set as well!!
